bhas Posted June 7, 2007 Share Posted June 7, 2007 I have Realtek ALC 653, 6-ch Audio CODEC, S/PDIF out interface .. My installation all are fine .. While booting my sound card loads with "AC97 : family matching fails" error. My sound card gets detected w/o any problem.. but when i play a song or do any sound related activities, i am getting audio only for first 2 secs.. den no sound Does anybody provide me the solution for this... I tried all the appleac97audio.kext posted here in this forum.. but still the same prob... I'm using AMD athlon 64 3200+ with Asus A8v-mx motherboard..
