vadimr Posted June 6, 2007 Share Posted June 6, 2007 I'm trying to build OSX for AppleTV but since I don't own a mac I'm installing it on my x86 platform and attempt to boot from ATV, I can never get it to boot. It seems to me that some of the files that are modified in OSx86 are what's causing this problem. My next idea is to swap out the extensions directory from the real tiger DVD but I have a feeling there are more changes that I don't know about. It always begins to boot but then just dies after about 2 minutes and gives me the prohibited sign. Someone suggested I try swapping out all the kexts from the extensions directory, any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
