Installed using JAS images 10.4.8 (SSE2/SSE3 pf1&pf2) + update 10.4.9 JAS so in the end you finish with this Darwin green.local 8.9.1 Darwin Kernel Version 8.9.1: Mon Apr 23 16:01:03 UZT 2007; made by ToH:xnu-792.18.15/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 i386 i386 Now hardware Intel Core2 duo T5300 1.73 (no sleep) and cpus=1 even with ACPI_patch applied. Memory 2GB HDD 120GB SATA wireless ipw 3495abg (not working and probably will never) ethernet broadcom 4401 - 100 BASE TX (standard broadcom patch as described in this topic) do not forget to do en0 -> en1 trick. intel 945 GME (chipset GMA) works without problems. sound sigmatel stac 9200 I have applied HDA patch method is now working. (the info in linux about it is STAC92xx Analog Duplex). with this linux dump (see attach). Any thoughts about the red issues will be appreciated. A P.S. After two weeks of using OSX on my dell insipron 640m I may confirm few issuses (as today 20th of June 2007) 1. newtwork "dies" if you do not use the computer for a while. (A simple restart will fix it, I did not investigate the matter any further). 2.
