hi everyone

I just installed mac os x86 tiger on my AMD pc.

The problem is that internet connection is not working.

i use an ethernet/usb adsl modem, under an ASRock motherboard with the network integrated interface.

in osx network configuration (System preferences->network) i see the option "built-in ethernet" but is disabled.

from what i have been reading, the appropiate drivers are not installed, and apparently they are very hard to find (if they exists).

please i really appreciate any info that can help me with this because running osx without connection is not that attractive.

I am also using Asrock Mobo with my Intel Celeron CPU, I got built-in lan too, but my network is doing fine. I did not install any driver or kext files, but it works.

Can you post a screenshot of you network pref here, so other may help.

Have a look at my screenshot here

Maybe you just need to configure yours.
