Devon Posted June 4, 2007 Share Posted June 4, 2007 hey. i hava a problem with my sound card in my hacked os x 10.4. it does not plays a sound or any thing, and when i try to find it in the audio property and look at output it does not views my sound card. its a: ADI AD 1988 8-channel High Definition Audio CODEC S/PDIF out interface (says the manual ) do any of you knows a solution for this BIG problem?? Loki76 Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 Don't listen to Flip100, I have the same sound on my Asus X48 WiFi@ MB and it works fine, when you installed from Kalyway 10.5.2 there are 3 audio drivers checked by default and one of these makes it work fine. I have not worked out which one yet as I will have to do another install. I shall get on to it tonight and report back with a kext or what ever you need.
