EncodedProcess83 Posted August 18, 2005 Share Posted August 18, 2005 hey, ive been trying to install osx natively using xplode's guide. i have everything installed, but when i get to the part of using pearpc to install from the dvd, pearpc wont boot from the dvd image. i tried both iso and img. the way it goes is that when i press 1 [at least in my case] to boot from the image, the number remains as zero. and ive used pearpc 0.4pre b4, and didnt have an issue with my panther install disk, back in the day b4 osx86. plz help! thanks in adv! specs im using: acomdata 160GB USB 2.0 Hard Drive [the eventual location of os x] P4 HT 2.8ghz processor [sSE2] 120GB Internal HDD 512 MB RAM, if that helps Tiger Dev Kit, by phenix [Marklar-Tiger.dmg, converted to iso through ultra iso] BIOS supports usb booting Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/527-xpoldes-native-guide-pearpc-not-booting-image/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
