Winston
I've read many topics to get this far, but I can't seem to solve this problem. Here's a little background info: System: CPU: AMD 3500+ (Venice) Mainboard: A8N-SLI Deluxe Nforce4 HDDs: 3x SATA HDDs VGA: (Sapphire) Ati Radeon X800XL Used ISO: JaS.Mac.OS.X.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.PPF.1.Defiant.diskutil.biker880.ich7-R.patch.Integrated I think that's all of the essential info. Due to my SATA HDDs, I had to install OSX using VMWare, after some hassle I got it installed. I installed the NForce4_SATA drivers using: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...rtyDrivers#SATA. I used a DSL live cd to transfer the virtual HDD to a physical HDD using the terminal (as described in one of the topics here). After that I tried to boot the OS, but the screen gets stuck with 2-4 vertical lines. I've tried to see what's wrong by doing a diagnostic boot, but everything seems to be fine, until I hit the "next screen". I figured it had to do with the VGA card, so I searched around the forum and tried the following solution: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=10415 (Koverg's patch) Unfortunately with no result . I'm aware of the fact there are quite some topics concerning VGA drivers for the Radeon X800XL, but I can't seem to find a clear answer and a working solution. Callisto should allow me to switch to all resolutions and refresh rates, but I can't even boot the OS without getting stuck. So can any of you OSX86 Guru's help me? Thanks in advance.
