TheMadMan
hi, try this -> disable all USBs from the BIOS and then try to install OS X. if successful then don't enable back the USBs from BIOS -> it might render OS X unbootable good luck
bogdan08
thank you for reply. I have a MSI laptop (L 720) so BIOS has just few options. About USB i have only legacy enable/disable/automatic option. I've already tried this and no result. Anyway thank you again for reply.
no.fear3224
I have the same exact problem!! only difference is that i have an msi M520. i get some usb error. i have taken a few steps to try to get around this. I have tried to change all usb options in the bios...limited options as posted above though. i have tried to update the bios the update does not start correctly. ive tried taking out the notebook hard drive, installing it in the desktop, using uphuck 10.4.9 with the settings for the laptop and putting the hard drive back in the laptop. the installation goes great (great uphuck) but when i put it back into my laptop i get the grey apple boot screen, then the grey "gear" makes a 180 degree rotation and freezes, my guess is that it freezes up at the usb problem. can ANYONE help me and the other guy pease!! i think msi laptops are un-osx86able!
