drho2004 Posted August 18, 2005 Share Posted August 18, 2005 Hello, i've been reading this forums a lot lately. ive decited that i want to try to install osx86 on my AMD64 3000+ (clawhammer). on my rig i have 3 HDD. one with XP, one storage, and another 80gb that i want to use for the osx86 install. the question i have is, i would like to keep my current windows xp install on the C drive, and install osx86 on the 80gb. kind of a like a dual boot? i dunno. or do i have to get rid of the windows install? thanks. EncodedProcess83 Posted August 18, 2005 Share Posted August 18, 2005 you can keep windows. several guides tell you how. ie, some you disconnect the windows drive. for the dd guides you plug in the exact drive [ie: PHYSICALDRIVE#]. however, you may accidentally get rid of windows, if you dont kno what ur doing.
