Ommie Posted May 29, 2007 Share Posted May 29, 2007 I am currently running osx86 on my desktop pc. It appears to work ok however it is UNBELIEVABLY slow. Even as I type it can't keep up with my typing. I booted in Safe Mode and it runs like a dream, the only downside is that in safe mode there is no networking so I can't use the internet! I presume this means a driver problem since safe mode disables non essential drivers. My current spec is: AMD Athlong 64 2800+ 40GB HDD 128MB Sapphire Radeon 9800pro 2GB RAM I'd realy appreciate help with this as I feel so close to getting the hackintosh I've always wanted I've already tried using thre platform=X86PC command and checking for the file which hogs CPU usage. I've also made sure to install the patch on the disc by M something or other. I feel like I've run out of things to try now. One last thing I noticed is that the mouse actually moves at full speed when not hovering over a window and I get teh occasional moment where I can type at normal speed as well.
