gibberish
Upon trying to boot the installation DVD, it hangs at the grey Apple logo screen. If I view the details, it says "ACPI: Supported S-States [s0 S3 S4 S5] (S3)". I'm running a Pentium 4 with SSE2. If you need more information, let me know. bubba129
I am having the same problem. I really dont understand I can load the cd when I am in Tiger 10.4.1 no problem but when I reboot it just hangs at the grey screen. I would really like to know how people managed to get this installed. Thanks for all your help. BMC6053
Is there a way to specifiy platform=TESTPC before it starts the install? gibberish
I fixed it by using the "platform=acpi|x86pc -v" command when booting the DVD. I successfully installed it, but when I try and boot OS X, it says "HFS+ Partition Error". Is this a known problem, or would a simple reinstall fix it?
