  1. That is correct I picked up a 3G the day it came out and signed up for the 6gig data for 30 dollars. I will have that deal until the end of my 3 years. All they are trying to say is that on September 1st the deal will change, might go back to the old pricing plan no one seems to know right now. Hope this clears this up a bit if not oh well.
  2. I seem to be having a small problem with my machine. Everything seems to work just fine but Leopard does not seem to be reading my CPU properly also I cant get the Hardware tab to populate. My computer is a CPU Q6600 at 2.4 ghz 3 gigs of 667mhz ram and a basswood mobo from asus EDIT forgot to mention that I am using EFIv8 with the vanilla kernel
  3. alright figured I would give this a try and see if I could update to 10.4.10. good news you can all I did was follow the guide on the first page and installed the koolkal kernel from may 02 so far I have lost sound and battery status I will update when I get more info EDIT Got the sound working by re-applying the AppleHDA patch and the Battery now works after installing the power management bundle
  4. Microsoft Surface

    1. your right at that price yuo wont see it in someones house anytime soon, but thats not what they are going for not yet anyways. 2. does it really need gigabit its not like you are going to use it all paying a bill, streaming movies and music its just overkill, like using a shotgun to get a fly 3. my guess on this one is they are waiting for the final draft which we can hope will come out before this is avalible in homes 4. no patents are being used from other companies. Apple hold the pantent for an LCD multitouch (something like that) 5. LOL I have no debate for that one... I dont even like Vista 6. multi touch is nothing new... whats new is how its used

  10. AppleHDA Solution - Work in progress

Hey everybody just installed the Jas update for 10.4.9 and I didnt even have to re-apply the patch sound just worked. 12. 10.4.9 update from software update

Alright I installed the 10.4.9 update and broke it so I tried again this time using the paulicat solution, and it seems to work I now have 10.4.9. With only one problem I cant mount a .dmg file anymore, says the device is not configured. Any ideas on why this might be. My specs are 1.6 core duo (t2050) 1gig ddr2 @ 533 100gig drive GMA950
