I am running OSX 10.4.7 on Pentium 4 machine. The video card is ATI Radeon 9600.

It works perfect when I boot the machine from Jas 10.4.7 DVD and type rd=disk0s1 after press F8.

However, when I boot from hard disk, it hungs up after gray Apple logo with gray screen.

Of cousre, I edited the com.apple.Boot.plist many times to get better situation, so far there are no change.

My com.apple.Boot.plist is now as simple as bellow.

<plist version="1.0">

<dict>

<key>Kernel</key>

<string>mach_kernel</string>

<key>Kernel Flags</key>

<string>rd=disk0s1 -v</string>

<key>Boot Graphics</key>

<string>Yes</string>

</dict>

</plist>

I put "Graphics Mode" key, but nothing changed.

Do you think this can be fixed by using other bool loader like GRUB?

It would be great if anyone could advice me.

Thanks.
