Hang during startup using -v

Hey Guys,

 

I'm very new to this forum, but after a search I still can't fix my problem.

 

After a lot of troubles, I finally got my JAS OS 10.4.8 installed. I downloaded the version include the 10.4.9 patch, but I have no idea how to install this because:

 

After the installation, I started mac os x, but after a couple of minutes, the system hangs. First time I only saw the apple in the sreen, but with the option -v I see the following:

 

My pc information:

Intel Pentium D 2.80 Ghz

1 GB Ram

ATi Radeon Xpress 200

Samsung HD 40GB

 

It's probably a known problem, but I can't find the solution.
