I installed on my laptop, on a clean HD, using the Tiger-X86_flat IMG, used several diferent parameters on dd for skip and bs, all them resultin in successfull install but fail to boot (b0 error)

this is the hardware:

-IBM Thinkpad R40 type 2681-CU1

-Pentium 4 M 1.8GHZ

-1GB RAM

-ATI Mobility 7000 16MB

I also tried to install on my desktop (i915), from the install DVD, it runs on hte desktop, but if I bring the HD to the laptop, I get the "hardware not compatible" {censored}.

Please help!!

I had this problem initially after wiping my hard drive to put OS X on it and had to use a Windows 98 boot floppy disk and mark the OS X partition active (though obviously the Windows 98 boot disk doesn't know it's an OS X partition, just a non-DOS partition).

After that, no more b0 error for me and OS X boots.

I was using the myzar disc though. If it's a different issue with the Deadmoo installation that then might not help you.
