Suzuran
I have a new MBP and a lot of experience with unixes, but little experience with OS X. I wanted wine, so I downloaded it, made an xterm, and did the usual configure and build. It works, but whenever I run anything that uses OpenGL or DirectX, it dies with the following: --- X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation) Major opcode of failed request: 129 (Apple-DRI) Minor opcode of failed request: 2 () Value in failed request: 0x57 Serial number of failed request: 117 Current serial number in output stream: 117 --- Is this a known issue with a known solution, or did I mess something up? dantehman3
Are you running OSX. I think if ur running OSX you cant use DRI (direct rendering interface). DRI is what accelerates OpenGL on linux xserver but I dont think it works on OSX's X11.
