maverick_pranav Posted May 24, 2007 Share Posted May 24, 2007 if have a sony vaio c25 series notebook...jas 10.4.8 intel amd installed....osx boots up properly when its connected to external power source..but fails to boot up when running on battery.....will installing new powermanagement bundle solve the issue... another problem is with the yukon ethernet card....i added the device id to the appleyukon.kext in ionetworking.kext...the card works normally after the boot.....but if i leave my connection as idle for some time...card switches off(becomes in active)...my dsl modem shows that its not connected to the port....i have to restart my comp. to connect to the net.... yeuthem Posted May 24, 2007 Share Posted May 24, 2007 I have the same problem here.... Working fine with 10.4.6 and 10.4.7, but with Jas 10.4.8, not booting without the power adapter. Some kind of driver problem.. ? I try the powermangement bundle already, still the same problem. Look like there is no answer to this problem.... Tough luck..
