Der_Kay
System config file com.apple.Boot.plist not found. Why? After my research on many threads here this is because of the jmicron controller which is not recognizing my IDE dvd drives attached to it. Is there a way to install a (patched) iso? I don't have an external DVD Drive or a 3.5 disk drive and I don'T want to mess around with cables in my pc. Any idea? Who installed MacOSX on his/her P5B? Oracle67
The smallest test installation i did is on a usb memory stick. You can try usb drive. Dont be affraid to mess gables on yous PC, try IDE HDD master DVD drive slave basicaly and disable SMART for both from bios, set boot order, if problem insist press F8 and type -v and hit enter to get a complete error report or an installation. Good luck.
