copperboy
I am running VMware 5.5.1 (I also tried 5.5.3) on Windows XP Pro with SP2. And the OSX86 image file is "JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.iso". I followed the instructions from "http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Vmware_how_to". But I still encouter PAE problems even I added the line "paevm = "TRUE"" in the configuration file "FreeBSD.vmx". Below are the details about my computer's hardware. MajorBlud
I'm not sure I understand why you're trying to use PAE. From what I've always understood, PAE is nothing more than a hack to enable 32-bit processors to access more than 4GB of RAM. You're thinkpad only has 512 MB. mujahid7ia
All the guides say to use PAEVM="TRUE", so that's why he did it probably. I used it too, but I had no idea what it did.
