poring Posted May 22, 2007 Share Posted May 22, 2007 Hello, I'm running 10.4.9 and I currently am attemping to use an nForce4 AC97 onboard device for sound since my Creative ZS2 doesn't work. I've tried replacing the kext file but then the devices disappears, followed by a kernal panic. I've also tried updating my bios to the latest beta, but that just made me get kernal panic even before the install DVD loads up the OS fully. I've been searching for solutions but most were only applicable to people who didn't have sound as a result of an undetected sound card/faulty driver. Hope someone knows a solution.
