Sergej
Hi! I'll try to install osx on a PC that will have a pentium dual core E6300. I have a iso of 10.4.7 (with the update to 10.4.8), I don't know if it's patched also for SS3. I want to ask if the ss3 "option" is necessary, or "simply" with a iso with ss3 I have better performance from my cpu. Another question: is it possibile to apply the patch, to enable ss3 support, after installation? Thanks a lot, and forgive my english Sergej
som3on3
SSE3 is needed, lots of apps crashes if no sse3 is installed and yes you can download the sse3 kernel from irc and install it "after installation"
Oracle67
Your prossesor is ok for both choises sse1 & 2, 10.4.7 is ok if it works with your hardware. The only thing that you ll do after installation is minimal fixes about your graphics, audio and network. Install if possible and dont be affraid. Good luck.
