Samutz
I just installed 10.4.8 on my Dell laptop for the first time. Installation from the DVD went on without any problems. Except after the first reboot, when it asks you to register, set the timezone, etc, I couldn't see my mouse pointer and it seemed to run slow overall (slower than the installer's GUI). I fixed the slow down by following the instructions on this topic. After rebooting, I could see the pointer again, and the slowdown was gone, but my screen was upside down. So I downloaded and installed Natit using Natit_Uni_1.0.pkg. It didn't look like it did anything at first, so I did a reboot. The screen is finally normal, but the mouse pointer is gone again. I tried rebooting a few more times, but its still gone. It's there, because I can click around and open menus and such with it. I did a dozen searches trying to find the solution to this, but haven't found anything.
Samutz
Ok then.... Is there anyway I could change the pointer/cursor graphics to see if that would make any difference?
