rezha
I own a sis900 notebook and i was thinking about buying a pcmcia card on ebay. It needs to be wired (no wireless at home), can you suggest a good card that runs on 10.4.8? Another question, how con i be sure that pcmcia slot works on my notebook ? I dont have any card to test. My notebook is an Asus Z81G. Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/51533-what-pcmcia-wired-card/ Share on other sites
zoomie
Try this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16833156156 I have this one. It performs well on my notebook, although the notebook only has Linux. The reason I recommend it is because it is based on the Realtek 8169 chipset, which is well supported on OSX. I have two Hackintoshes with cheap generic NIC cards that are based on the Realtek 8169 chipset. I've had no problems whatsoever with them.
