Sieg Posted November 30, 2005 Share Posted November 30, 2005 i downloaded 10.4.3.8F1099 and patched Maxxuss DVD/ISO Patcher. all things done with no mistake but while booting on my laptop, the gray apple screen just blink then it reboots. i tried all 3 kernels with the same result. my laptop is: sony vaio pcg-z1r/p p-m 1.5g banias 855pm ati m6 16m 768m ddr266 hitachi dk23ea-60 on primary master sony crx950e on secondary master it has an installation of mac os x x86 v10.4.1 on the second partition and works well. the disc however, can be booted up on other's compaq laptop presario m2207ap probably like this: p-m 1.7g dothan 915gm 1024m ddr333 seagate 40g dvdrom i also tried to install in vmware onto physical hd partition with no succeed. it says *** Virtual machine kernel stack fault (hardware reset) *** The virtual machine just suffered a stack fault in kernel mode. On a real computer, this would amout to a reset of the processor. It can be caused by an incorrect configration of the virtual machine, a bug in the operating system, or a problem in the vmware workstation software. Press ok to reboot virtual machine of cancel to shut it down. vmware v5.0.0 build-13124 how comes? what can i do?
