Almighty Posted May 16, 2007 Share Posted May 16, 2007 I've installed Jas 10.4.8 w/ PPF1 and PPF2 image, I then upgraded with Jas 10.4.9 Combo Update Intel SSE3. Everything works, including sound. My video card works, but is not recognized in OS X by name, I am able to change the resolution by editing com.apple.boot.plist and QE/CI both work without editing anything else. However I get screen tears and artifacts all the time. Does anyone with this video card know of a solution that gets rid of the screen tearing AND keepts QE/CI? I've tried the koverg patch and callisto in the past (I've reinstalled about 8 times) and they all ended up not working and not being able to boot, or not getting QE/CI functionality. Keny Hu Posted May 17, 2007 Share Posted May 17, 2007 I think up to now, the only solution is to use MightMouse v1.3 which would eat almost all the artifacts except such in X11 windows. Concerning Callisto, actually, you would never get QE/CI support until configuring some lines in your orginal drivers. For details, plz check the FAQ file carefully (NOT readme BUT faq).
