ablyes Posted May 16, 2007 Share Posted May 16, 2007 hello, i've tried to make my pci card network 3c905c-TX under 10.4.8 and i failed. i tried the 10.4.3 IONetworkingFamily.kext and the 10.4.7 version. with this lines : chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext rm /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache rm /System/Library/Extensions.mkext diskutil repairpermissions / reboot have you any idea about how to make this card working ? thanks P.S. note that i have a realtek 8201 integrated card witch does'nt work after what i saw in the forum. i didn't disabled this card in the bios cause i use it in windows vista. ablyes Posted May 19, 2007 Author Share Posted May 19, 2007 i don't understand your question ! it doesn't work under 10.4.8 so i want another version avec IONetworkFamily.kext to make it work still under 10.4.8.... i didn't said that the card didn't work when i was in 10.4.? cause i've just installed the 10.4.8.
