twophive
Check in terminal, using this command : sudo sysctl | grep cpu it should show the number, either it being 1 or 2, along with cpu extensions such as EM64T and XD. AmigoHD
Many thx for all these replies. But today I decided to dedicate that "old" setup for my WinXP setup. For my new OSX setup I'd like to buy new components. Please have a look at this topic I opened: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=51152 I'd like to know if there would be any problem with this setup. E6600, Asus P5W DH Deluxe, Sapphire X1950XT 256MB. Especialy I'd like to know if native install/booting on S-ATA is possible with this board/chipset.
