Hello

I tried to native install OSX 10.4.8 (JaS 10.4.8 Intel/AMD Release). The installation screen is booting up, no problems here.

But my keyboard and my mouse are not working. I read several topics and found out that I need to try a PS/2 mouse and keyboard. So I did. Neither worked, USB nor PS/2.

What should I try?

Here are my specs:

AMD Athlon X2 4400+

DFI LanParty NF4 Mainboard

2GB OCZ DDR Ram

1 IDE Harddrive

3 SATA Harddrives

Thx for any tips.

I only can turn on/off usb legacy support. Nothing written by 1.1 or 2.0. But maybe legacy is exactly this choice?!

Tried both settings. Neither worked.

Now i tried to un- & replug the keyboard and mouse while the installation. As expected it did not work.

PS. I am sorry for my poor english.

Yeah. Many thx! Got it to install. 10.4.8 runs just perfect yet!

Just antother quick question: How can I check if QE / CI is activated for my ATI X1600? I only can see that my card supports this. I see this within the info about my mac.
