Rhys28
I got this working using, at least for output, using the hack method for the alc8xx chips. If you follow the install guide at http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=18642 and replace the alc882 keys with the following keys, you'll have audio out. This should work for anyone with an asus m2npv mobo. I don't have any other nforce 430mcp based boards to test it on, so don't know whether the keys will work on other mobos... Key1 - 11d41986 Key2 - 026c10de Hope the info is usefull!
cyclonefr
does this trick will work on P4P800SE which has a ADI1985? could be huge to handle the applehda support
Rhys28
Couldn't say. I haven't had a system with an Intel CPU or compatible motherboard since the K6-2 was bleeding edge (the last intel CPU I had I believe was my original 286, and I can't remember for sure if it was an intel or not...). My suggestion would be to give it a try and see. I'm guessing it would if you use the right keys, mine definitely won't work. I haven't even started on the applehda support for mine yet, just have 2channel out for now, which is all I really need. Good luck!
