Khid
I can see them in the disk Utilities, can't see them under SELECT A DESTINATION. Hardware- Gigabyte DS3 REv3.3 HDDs 3 x 250gb 7200. Booting from IDE drive just fine, just can't find a destination disk. Have the latest JaS disc. Khid
For the record, I Pre-partioned in Windows and it's not picking it up. I just did it in OS X and it works, but it sucks because I already had one for windows! GRRR might have to reinstall XP again. Oracle67
If you dont erase and dont make a disk "Mac Os X extended (jurnaled)" you cannot see it on chose destination. Be careful about what you ll erase. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/50976-no-destination-volume-with-install/#findComment-364904 Share on other sites
Khid
Yeah finally figured that out. Thanks Oracle. It's installing now. I installed XP first, though, and also created a FAT32 file. Will I be able to boot back into XP afterward/ I noticed that XP would NOT boot after I changed FIRST BOOT back to HDD. I hope I don't have to reinstall XP, as I don't want to deal with the stupid activation headache that comes with owning a builders copy; so lame. Also, OS X is only reading my 250gb HDDs at 128gb. O_o;; Is this just a matter of reformatting with Acronis to Fat32 or something that OS X and Windows can read equally?
