videotape74 Posted May 12, 2007 Share Posted May 12, 2007 Hey everyone, I have JaS MacOS-X 10.4.7 installed on my system and I'm trying to update to JaS.10.4.9.Combo.Update.Intel.SSE3 but I've had no luck. 10.4.7 runs fine on my system but when I try to install the 10.4.9 update package I get an error saying "There was a error installing the package..." then when I rebooted after that all of a sudden I was unable to boot back into the OS. Can anyone help me with this please? My system info is below...thank you very much for any help... CPU: Pentium D 3.2GHz Mobo: ASRock 4CoreDual-VSTA Socket 775 RAM: 512 MB DDR PC3200 Video: Gigabyte Radeon 9550 256 MB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Oracle67 Posted May 12, 2007 Share Posted May 12, 2007 Your system is able to run 10.4.8 first and then to be easily updated to 10.4.9. Of course you cannot update directly to 4.9 from 4.7.
