Hello, this is my first post here and i hope you guys can help me!!

I bought a new brand pc, and this is the conf:

MB MSI 7241 (G965M-FI)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E6430 (2.13 Ghz)

GeForce 7300GS

2 GB RAM DDR2 667

HD MAXTOR 160GB SATA

Once i turned it on, i tryed, first of all, install OSX86, it's an image from JAS 10.4.8.

BUTT, when the installation screen popup, and i go to the Disk Utility to format the HardDisk, it simple doesn't apear. Only the drive of DVD.

Does any one knows if MAXTOR is compatible with it ???

Thanks a lot

Cheers

Guarantee is for a year the most of time.

For separate parts is 1 year to lifetime.

The most of your parts is 1 to 3 years, like parts.

You dont need the support of a shop that is less than the individual parts guarantee.

You have ANYWAY 1 to 3 years guarantee, and noone gan seal the box to do not let you add or modify HDD to expand or to install a new system.

Here in Brazil it is different.

They glue a stick back where the screw stays. So, if i tear it off, they will not i mess in the pc, making me loss my guarantee.

The problem could be it or IT is for sure ???

Thanks man !!!!

Cheers

PS. by the way, i looked for the CS3 logo fonts, and saw that you are using it in your avatar. Can you tell me what is it ?? hauehaeuhae

THXX again

It is the Lightroom symbol edited in Photoshop.

Ask the nesassery permision of your hardware seller to upgrade your system the way you want.

It is something minimal this action.

Ask for the guarantee of each one of the parts of your pc.

No for the box.

They cannot refuse it.

Hi, that's me again.

And i really did what u sad, but it didn't resolve my problem yet.

I putted it as second master, slave, cable select, and in none of the them it worked.

Do you have some other solution, plz ??

when i am at disk utility tool, i don't see my S-ATA disk, just de DVD drive.

Thanks

It is a small equipment not a box but just a gable with 2 ends the one is a normal usb2 and the other converts the sata or ide to usb, you keep your disk internal with the power gable on it and you can connect your drive gable on that tool,it is very cheep and it can be found in the most shops related to hardware.

Working finaly or not it is very useful.

isn't there any other way ??

as i said, i installed it in my wife's computer, and the installation went all fine. the only problem was in the gray screen with the apple logo, after the installation it got frozen.

My pc doesn't have all to run OSX? or i really need an IDE HDD to run it??

Thx

i tried to do that, but windows did not allow me to it.

any suggestions ??

Acctualy i tried the set id=af override, in the volume of windows.

the create partition show me 4 options to chosse, between them it's EFI, MSR and another two.

Thx
