luvh3be Posted May 11, 2007 Share Posted May 11, 2007 Guys i just got a Mac Pro G4 from a friend but i don't think i can repair it anymore. I would like to build a C2D Mac os system. Since i am new here i don't really know anything. But my system will mainly for World of Warcraft and Warcraft 3. I need suggestion on the hardwares that i am gonna use like what mb, video card.....etc.... I will b using 24" or 30" lcd so VC should be good. And for mb i prefer Asus. I want a board that has no compatibility problem if theres is none well something that has less compatibility issue is the best. Also what optical drive is the best? Another questoin, where should i get the Mac OS? should i buy it from MAC? or is there anyplace i can dl for free???? Oracle67 Posted May 11, 2007 Share Posted May 11, 2007 I use an asus P5L-MX micro with onboard intel graphics(256 ci & qe) onboard sound cmi with a realtek pci lan card and an asus usb wirless. 100% working.
