HexDump Posted May 10, 2007 Share Posted May 10, 2007 Hi all, I have checked the forums and have found topics talking about this issue I´m suffering but nobody gives a solution. Has a solution been found yet?. I´m installing Jas Amd + Intel SS2 and SS3 release. P.D. I forgot to say I read that it is possibly produced by pc not reading the mac partition of the dvd but I don´t know how to solve this. If anyone could help help here I would be really gratefull. ecr24901 Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 I have a MSI P965 Neo mobo and am running osx86. DVD drive needs to be hooked up to ICH8 SATA, so you can buy a SATA drive or an IDE to SATA adapter. I have my hard drive hooked up to the JMicron SATA. Make sure to patch .iso with the ich8x.ppf so you don't get the "still waiting for root device" error message... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
