typhoch2 Posted May 9, 2007 Share Posted May 9, 2007 First sorry for my english^^ Hello I have first installed the jas 10.4.8 amd intel dvd and after I boot i get vertical green stripes on my desktop. Thats it. Somebody says i had to take the tubgirl version because its better for amd pcs. But after the installation i get the same stripes. My System Amd Athlon 64 3000+ Sockel 754 Sse2 Asus x800pro 1024 mb ram and a gigabyte motherboard. dashaund Posted May 9, 2007 Share Posted May 9, 2007 x800...that an ATI video card, right? You need to enable the ATI patches in the installation. There's a group of alternate pathces in both Jas and Tubgirl's discs...on Jas it's Titan ATI. If that doesn't work, I dunno. I have an nVidia 6600GT so I'm not familiar with ATI stuff. I'm sure, that I have installed the Ati Patch. But if I didn't do that, have I to install osx again? I think it's only because of the ati x800 pro.
