Hey this is my first post and i am new at this, dont worry i read the FAQ!,

I have downloaded and burned "Mac OSX x86 10.4.3 build 8f1111 patched with Wesley's patch" just the iso (it came with and md5 file, what do i do with it?) heres what i did to prepare my system:

Formatd 1 seagate 200bg harddrive- one partition 40gb at fat32-jumpered as master

my setup:

TDK 1280b cd/dvd drive jumpered as master

Amd 3700 939pin cpu (has sse2 and sse3)

Asus A8v-e-se motherboard

Asus Eax1300 pro videocard

2 1gb sticks kingston ddr400 ram

I can get to the gray install screen and it just sits there, my dvd drive is spinning, what do i need to do to make this install work?

i have a separate 200bg hardrive with xp/ Partation magic i use to format this one and i just unplug the power when i boot to the install. my next guess is that this version isnt compatable with amds, i also have a tiger dvd here, if posssble i wound patch that, thanks

any help is greatly apprrciated!!

1. You just need to burn the iso file and boot to the install process.

2."I can get to the gray install screen and it just sits there, my dvd drive is spinning, what do i need to do to make this install work?"

When you know the dvd is spinning, it means the data is reading.

It runs 1-5minutes on this process depands on your PC speed.
