sofakng
I'm trying to get my nForce4 SATA drive to work and after doing a bunch more reading I found another solution: Install Mac OS X using VMware. Ok, fair enough, I've used VMware before (from inside Windows XP) but I'm a bit confused. Do I use VMware to install Mac OS X onto it's own partition, boot the OS from INSIDE WINDOWS XP, install the nForce4 SATA, and then delete VMware so my partition can boot normally? I thought that VMware normally created files on your current partition (eg. NTFS) and used them as "virtual" partitions (eg. running an operating system inside an operating system). Thanks for any help...
Oracle67
The HD that VMware uses it can be a phisical HD. Try to install (without VM) one of the latest releses OsX without to worry about nForce and sata.
sofakng
I've tried using the JaS 10.4.8 Intel/AMD SSE2/SSE3 PPF1+PPF2, but after it's installed I get the "Waiting for root disc..." error (because it doesn't have nForce4 SATA drivers I think). So you're saying I install vmware, then have it install mac os x to a real partition, then remove vmware and boot the partition normally?
