DragonView Posted May 8, 2007 Share Posted May 8, 2007 I downloaded/burned the Mac 10.4.8 SSE2 from demonoid.com, and when trying to install that on my Thinkpad R51e, it shown that "PS/2 keyboard not recognized." Confused... Why such thing happen? and coz root device not found, i can not coutinue the installation.. what a mess ! You may plug the USB mouse and PS/2 keyboard at the same time, and start the computer, hence they can works! toasty Posted May 8, 2007 Share Posted May 8, 2007 Rather than make a new thread I will just tag on to yours I just installed OSX 10.4.9 and during the install process where you format and name the partitions my mouse and keyboard worked fine (they are both USB) But now that I have OSX installed my mouse does not work Anyone have any suggestions? naquaada Posted May 21, 2007 Share Posted May 21, 2007 Look in BIOS if you can disable USB Legacy support. Worked on a friends mobo (M2N4-SLI or so). I would recommend to both devices on the same interface.
