madmanxwater Posted November 29, 2005 Share Posted November 29, 2005 Hi, I have 8f1099 with Maxxus 1.1a running on my hp zd8225 laptop no problem. I've tried to intall it on my Asus p4c800 deluxe and I get to the "Select a Destination" screen in OSx but my freshly formated (in OSx86) HD says it cannot startup from this volume, so it won't let me install. I'm stuck. Can this be fixed? What should I try? Thanks, Mike Canada P.S. funny thing is, I have a Dual G5 (Guad is on the way) and a 17" PowerBook. madmanxwater Posted November 29, 2005 Author Share Posted November 29, 2005 Ok, figured it out. The partition map was messed up so I erased the entire drive then created one new partition. OSx86 installed and is running great! If I could only figure out how to get better than 1024x768, I have an ATI x600 in my laptop and an ATI Radion 9500 in the desktop.
