MistorOrange
I recently Installed the Mac OS X to a spare harddrive I had in my pc. Once I reboot into that hard drive, it starts to load and then gives me this: I tried booting in safe mode, with same results, and I also tried booting with -v , and it gets to this one part and says: Unable to get device memory UIMInitialize Error 0 Unexpected Kernal Trap Debugger Called Panic Waiting for remote debugger kdp-poll no debugger device. System specs are as follows: Emachines T3524 Intel Celeron D CPU 3.20 GHZ 512 DDR2 Ati Radeon Xpress 200 Video Card Thanks for any help in advance, i'm new to this so if I need to post any more information on something, just let me know. MistorOrange
Use: Mac OS X 10.4.9 Intel SSE3 [JaS 10.4.8 AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2.iso and JaS.10.4.9.Combo.Update.Intel.SSE3.zip to update. Do a proper clear from the begining installation. I was currently getting Mac OS X 10.4.6 Install DVD by JAS, its 40 percent done, but should I not go with that and get MAC OS X 10.4.9 Intell SSE3? Thanks for all your help.

Good luck. I just burnt the most recent JAS mac os install image, to dvd, and when I boot it starts to loading then it stops and says this: Unable to intialize UIM, blah blah Debugger Called < Panic > Backtrace, Format = Frame: Return Address (4 Potential args on stack) bunch of numbers then it just list the kernal version and stops and does nothing? What am I doing wrong here?? thanks for all your help
Oracle67
Is this helps? Neaded staff: 1. Mac OS X 10.4.(1-8) Install DVD (on a DVD+ or -R NO RW!) 2. A PC with a compatible DVD drive (to install OS X) (better use IDE HDD master and dvdDrive slave, SMART disabled from Bios) How to: 1. Get a prepatched OSX install image (look at torrent sites for that). 2. Burn the image to an empty dvd recordable (+R or –R NO RW) Use your favorite burn program for this (Nero, Alcohol 120%, MagicISO, PowerISO e.t.c) 3. Insert the OSX install disk and reboot your computer. 4. Boot the DVD, when the grey Apple stops spinning, select Language for the installation. 5. On the top of the screen, click "Utilities" and then click "Disk Utility". 6. Disk Utility starts. Select your Hard Disk or Partition. Chose "erase" tab and set the Volume Format to "Mac OS extended (journaled)" name it ("Macintosh HD" or "Mac Os X" or whatever) and erase it. 7. Wait until the process finishes and then close Disk Utility. 8. Follow the installation steps on your screen, select the HD with the partition you made in step 6 and choose "Customize" if installer have this option. In the Installer window, select either the Intel or AMD. Choose more packages if they fit in your hardware. 9. After finishing the installation, wait for the computer to reboot, remove the install disk and enjoy your "Intel/AMD-Mac Os X (x86)" installation. EDIT: give time to your PC, the time from the first click on keyboard to the first blue apple screen can be 2 or 10 minutes...dont touch keyboard, dont force restart just wait to pass the crash reporter. Well I tried doing the IDE Master drive, Disabling S.M.A.R.T etc. but still the same thing, I wrote down exactly what it says tho after the kernal trap thing. it says com.apple.driver.appleUSB04CI (2.6.0) dependcy: com.apple.iokit.IOUSB family (2.6.1) dependcy: com.apple.iokit.IOPCI family (2.1) com. apple.iokit.IOUSBFAMILY (2.6.1) then it list the kernal version and then just hangs. thanks again for all your help
