ok, there is the generic list of components i just grabbed off some site, so shoot me on the lack of specifics for hardware

 

so far i have 10.4.1 build 8b1025 (the phenix dvd with update) and the 1099 and 1111 torrents are currently downloading, so i'll see how those work when i get them, but in the mean time i have been running smoothly othe than the following three problems i've had so far.

 

 

number 1 - my wireless controller does not show up, basically it's not there, this is my main concern so if someone could help me get the drivers for an intel b/g miniPCI card that would be excellent

 

number 2 - yes, my screen is natively widescreen, but osx is running in 4:3 mode at 1024x768, if someone could help me get my full resolution of 1280x768 that would also be stellar

 

number 3 - ac'97 audio registers under "sound" in system preferences, now i don't know if i'm getting a signal through my built in speakers, but i put some headphones on and my output at max volume is like putting it at the last before mute setting on any device with a digital volume control. so i ask you people for that too

 

 

 

now i am posting this at risk of being made fun of due to lack of knowledge and/or keeping up with the project, but i am new and could use some help, and if you all could help with this that would be great, i was raised an artist.....on windows and i'm desparately trying to switch over, and this will give me a better starting point. thanks to all
