zackmario
Im able to use my wireless apple bluetooth keyboard on 10.4.8 with the 8.4.1 kernel. I upgraded to 10.4.9 yesterday and am using the 8.9.1 kernel I get the bluetooth icon, and can see the keyboard. When I try and add it as a keyboard device, it gets to the pairing screen but it doesnt complete that step. If I look at the blue tooth devices, it shows the keyboard connect and paired but it doesnt know its a keyboard. Correspondingly the bluetooth tab under keyboards doesnt show it present. I copied the kexts from 10.4.8 to 10.4.9 to see if that helped but it didnt. Not sure what else to try. Any suggestions? I also noticed that the messages that appear when booting with -v are different on the working 10.4.8 machine. Is this a kernel issue? Can it be 10.4.9 if I copied the kexts? Do I need to copy more kexts? Please help. Thanks, Zack
