peter123 Posted May 2, 2007 Share Posted May 2, 2007 I have a dell inspiron 6000, pentium M 1.6G, ati radeon x300 I burnt the Jas 10.4.8 with the patches for intel on a DVD. Followed the guild posted on the wiki creating 3 partitions. I installed the acronis director suite as well as the OS chooser. OSX installed sucessfully with all the necessary patches But upon reboot, I could not get pass the grey screen with the mac logo. and now I couldn't even boot windows either, the mac OS loads by default everytime the computer starts Any help is greatly appreciated. Guest Ramm Posted May 2, 2007 Share Posted May 2, 2007 After you select it in Acronis (and I mean right after), bash F8 and when you get to the Darwin screen, type in "-v -x" without the quotes. See what happens. And if you want to boot into windows again, put in the windows XP install CD/DVD, do a repair, and under the repair console type in FIXMBR and then exit/reboot.
