dsc106 Posted May 2, 2007 Share Posted May 2, 2007 jas 10.4.8 setup and running with little hassle installed basic OS with AMD extensions only Without installing anything, I already have LAN/internet working via the Marvell onboard LAN on my mobo & the onboard sound AC97 on mobo. However, I have done nothing to setup my graphics... and I noticed I am capped at 1024x768 resolution, and the screen saver runs slowly. I have an XFX Nvidia GeForce 7800gt 256mb. Where do I go, and what do I need to do? I am overwhelmed by info and if someone could just point me in the right direction... Also, is there a thread or guide for updating to 10.4.9? I need 10.4.9 to run Final Cut Studio 2. FINALLY... is there anything else that I should know or need to setup? Like I said I have done pretty much nothing, its just up and running. Kernel updates? Other drivers/extensions to add for better performance? Please any help/pointing in right direction would be so helpful. Thanks so much.
