gnubeard
VMware 5.5.4 is a security maintenance release. Important if your VM's are servers connected to the real world, but if you're using VMware (on, say, Linux) to have access to Windows and MacOSX apps, there isn't much point. All the new goodies and features are being reserved for 6.0 -gnubeard
Suser
Correct, but 5.5.4 is compatible with Vista wherez 5.5.3 isn't, so Vista users are advised to update.
