InflatableMouse
Hey, can't seem to find a clear asnwer on this in the forums, but although my layout is generally oke, CTRL and ALT seem to be switched and the WINkey isn't working it seems. Can I change this and enable the WINkey to be the infamous Apple key? Also, Ctrl-Arrow key don't work and Home and End don't work. Any way to get these to work as well? Or maybe there are Mac alternatives I am not aware of? Thx! PS. Running JAS 10.4.8 on P5W DH Dlx. Neonkoala
Well the fix for my UK keyboard to avoid the horrible US style layout infecting my system is to go to Microsoft.com, grab theiy desktop keyboard and mouse drivers for OS X and install, after reboot you can choose UK Microsoft, or in your case US Microsoft layout which should fix your layout. InflatableMouse
Thanks! Hm oke I needed a few screenshots of Mac keyboards to discover that the Alt and Win keys are swapped and that skipping words on a mac (ctrl-arrow on Windoze) is Applekey-arrow. I guess there are more keys I take for granted but in the mean time I also have a list of hotkeys on the Mac. I'll survive Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/49653-us-international-keyboard/#findComment-357037 Share on other sites
