grullo
Hi, I just tried to install 10.4.3 (8f1099 with Maxuss 1.1a patch) on my PC, following Maxuss's procedure: works great (CoreImage and Quart Extreme supported): DVD playing works perfectly with ATI 9700 Pro (AIW), like Firewire and USB, SATA controller, DVD burner (LG GSA 4163B). Only one problem: no sound (but under 10.4.1 was ok). I am very satisfied: many many thanks to all of you, great job. And now I can say goodbye to Windows. grullo
Ad the AC97 kext... [Removed for DMCA violation] I think that's the correct one.... worked for me (Asus P4C800 Deluxe) I am very stupid: I forget to able SPDIF output and voila', sound works perfectly. Thanks for your help but with default AC97 kext sound works. A perfect MAC. Hi Do you get artifacts on the screen with the 9700 Pro? For example when scrolling the mouse. I tried and yes, some little artifacts only if I use mouse's wheel. I just viewed a commercial DVD with no problem, no artifacts.

poispois
Try the MousePousé method for artifacts when scrolling the mouse. Isn't a perfect solution but works for me.
