Bluemist Posted April 27, 2007 Share Posted April 27, 2007 Hi, I am at the end of my wick...and am about to go completely insane (as opposed to my current status of partially insane! ) I have Itunes 7.1.1 our music was stored on an external drive. For some reason some of the songs (about 20 altogether) will play and others won't. I DON'T get the ! (cant locate original file message) it just wont play. I have tried consolidating the library,adding to library, etc etc but nothing works. I cant work out the difference between the files that play and the ones that don't. (they are both in the same location). Am using OS X (10.4.9) Have tried running some scripts but nothing works so far. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Bluemist Posted April 29, 2007 Author Share Posted April 29, 2007 Yes they have played before - whats more last night when i turned on a crashed disk drive they played again....which is strange seeing as I have transferred all the data to another disk....however it wont play unless the damaged drive is on....so i dont know.
