I had read something about it somewhere that I can't remember. It says that there's a software like CrossOver that can run single Linux program instead of running whole system in a VM (like PD).

I'm looking for such software because of the soft switch problem of acer... It makes my BCM94318 drived but no signal...

And the problem can be solved in linux using "acerhk" or a 64-bit "acer-acpi".

Anyway, if anyone can transport the "acerhk" or "acer-acpi" to OSX is the best way. But I just don' know who can and wanna do this... (Actually I saw quiet a lot of acer reporting their wireless working on Wiki, I just wonder didn't they get bothered with their soft switch? As I know that almost all model from acer in recent 2 to 3 years has similar design.)

Then, does it mean that the only hope for my wireless card and bluetooth is to wait for someone transport the acerhk to OSX?

I tried to make an external PCMCIA wireless card work (Netgear WG-511 v1) but failed: the PrismGT driver is correctly installed but the card just cannot be recogonized......

It is really disappointed for always get wired with a driven wireless card
