dannymichel
Hi all, I installed this wonderful somftware yesterday and was running fine untill I install Rhine Ethernet II, ATI Radeon x1650Pro AGP, Realtek audio drivers and all of the recommended updates by the operating system. I did some searching on the forums and found a post about preparing my system for install. I found a post that explained it well which had this attached to it: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...ost&id=4499 . I understand I must choose a package for install. The last time I installed I just chose all of them. Is there a problem with that? If so may someone help me descide what packages are right for me? I say packages because I have two machined I want to install the operating system on; First machine: Intel Core Duo 930 (Pentium D) Second machine: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
Matteran
Don't install the Mac OS X software updates. Updates to iTunes and such are fine, but upgrading your operating system from 10.4.8 to say, 10.4.9 will changed the hacked aspect of the OS, and not allow you to run on non-mac hardware. dannymichel
Ok so just pick all of them again? Even the AMD options?
abhi262
no, just all of the ones applicable to your system (i.e. if you have an intel, install the intel and not the AMD and vice versa)
